Nearly!

I nearly caught a rabbit! It circled the lawn three times with me in hot pursuit. We weaved left and right and tore through the garden at high speed. Then that rascally rabbit disappeared down a hidden burrow.

Fun in Rotorua

This weekend we all piled into the old but faithful ute and convoyed up to Rotorua for the North Island Bull Terrier Club Open and Champ shows. We had heaps of fun, and even got to go swimming in the lake (which was the highlight it you ask me). We even came home with some ribbons and ROM points. Results were the same for both shows. Ziggy got reserve best dog and intermediate of breed and me, Banderbear got reserve best bitch. Our daughter Anna Fang missed out but she had fun.

Evan Chino won a glass and medal for being the oldest dog.

It's good to get home though and relax.

Supervision is the key

Today I supervised the installation of the new blinds. It was pretty nerve wracking. Falling objects (her indoors), blood (hers again) and burnt fingers (yep you guessed it). But no swearing. A pretty good job all round. If you're looking for a good deal on blinds go to http://nzblinds.co.nz

RIP Aura

Ch Boromir Witches Brew 

22/11/2002 to 13/03/2013

Aura passed away last week.  She was a great mum to her puppies and a caring aunt to all the mini babies born.  Aura was a great companion, the best house dog you could hope for.  She did well as a show dog too.  I hope you've joined up with all your friends in heaven.  

Nearly a champion!

Anna won her 6th challenge certificate today. When she got home she went out I play in the rain and make herself all dirty again! So much for scrubbing her clean Friday night.

There's something living in the pump again!
